Spartanburg vs Dutch Fork

Post by DFOLDMAN »

Just happy for the team to be able to play a home game. Hope they can continue to heal and grow...win, lose or draw. Proud of this team, coaches and community. As far as a prediction, I hope they play well and can find a way to win. They faced Spartanburg in a scrimmage in the pre-season. Just have to wait and see. Any thoughts?

Hearing some very bad things coming from the DF area. An investigation?

I will be very surprised if the Vikings give the Foxes any difficulty. I expect much like last week from the 2nd quarter on.

About? I would assume you are talking about the player that passed a couple weeks back? That would be standard practice. If not, don't just throw out rumors, back it up with some details.

Hodge is still rebuilding at Spartanburg. In order to compete with DF you have to be already established and be able to match up physically. Only team that's been close to knocking them off in the upstate was Dorman. To be fair Gaffney hasn't had a fair shot lately. Spartanburg will play hard but they ain't ready to beat a team like Df yet until hodge has had more time to build back the Spartanburg tradition. Just my opinion.

They had their shots, Dorman, T L Hanna and Byrnes prevented them from getting there. However, this might be their year! As of right now, they appear to be on track for a meeting with them..... but, we have a long way to go before either team is in the Championship Game!

Until the Upstate 5A teams decode that Delaware Wing-T and figure out a way to stop it...it may be Hanna again from the Upstate. Been there 2 out of the last 3 years. They seem to be gaining momentum again this season. Hanna started out a little slow, but seem to be hitting on all cylinders now. And don't sleep on Northwestern...good team, that returns a lot from last season.

As for DF...just a game at a time. Regardless of how they wind up this season, very, very proud of them. Between losing Gage and Jack, these kids and coaches have had a tough, tough season.

Finally, DF gets a game at home. See you there!

Do they sell tickets at the gate at DF this year? Guy I work with is thinking about going, trying to find out for him.

the GoFan app is the easiest way to purchase tickets for the DF game. I am unsure if they will be selling them at the gate or not.
