Ha Ha SF Band Dad. Is this a Joke? Do you really believe that South Florence will take Beaufort to the woodshed next week?SF Band dad wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 11:34 pmI think you are correct on the tie-breakers, if so, I think we have to travel to Beaufort next week.WhoDat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 10:09 pmSaved the comment? If I have the format correct, the region seeding should look like:SF Band dad wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 12:02 amSaving that comment. You'll probably see that again. We scrimmaged Carolina Forest and Sumter and our QB is a D1-Power P5 commit. I think our last D1 player was T. Hines and he opted to transfer to Marlboro County for his senior year.WhoDat wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 8:02 amWe need a little of that good stuff you’re smoking. This team couldn’t hold the jock strap of several previous Bruins teams throughout their history.
Plus you beat up on a terrible Bluffton team. That’s like celebrating a Super Bowl after beating Darlington lol.
Long season ahead, but I say maybe 3rd-4th place region finish at best if you’re lucky.
1-MB
2-HV
3-WF
4-SF
5-NMB
SF is undisciplined and it showed big time tonight. They were and are overrated this year. Better year than last, so that’s a plus for the program, but you have to take care of the small stuff or it will hurt you in the end.
You are right on one point, our lack of discipline and knowledge of the rules probably cost us the game tonight. Some of our coaches' decisions didn't help. The on-side kick when we had the momentum and a tied score was questionable, tack on an unsportsmanlike penalty and WF starts on our 35. At that point in the game their offense had not scored a point, I think we should have just kicked it deep and let our defense do their thing. A few plays later one of our players removes his helmet while celebrating a touchdown, another unsportsmanlike penalty which backs us up 10 yards, and the PAT is short. We lose by 1.
I still think this is the most talented SF team I've ever seen, but we lost our starting QB and tailback to injuries in week 7. We were putting a ton of young players on the field, and we have a lot of youth on the sidelines as well. I suspect we'll learn from this and take Beaufort to the woodshed next week.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!
