1A: Just like 5A everyone is playing for the runner up trophy. The ability to recruit puts the lower classification of public schools at an extreme disadvantage.

2A: This (as well as 3A) could be the most competitive classification with the likes of Abbeville, Saluda, GC, SJ, and Newberry in the upper and Silver Bluff, Timberland, and Philip Simmons in the lower.

3A: Another good group of teams here as well- the upper state and lower state having strong matchups in the 2nd round.

3A Lower State- Oceanside has to be a favorite along with Dillon but don't overlook Brookland-Cayce and I think I'll step out and say Brookland-Cayce.

If Greenville and Gray don’t get in their own way they’re more than capable of making it to the championship. That is a big if.

Hey WhoDat, I don't think the 4A Lower State is weak this year. Beaufort and Myrtle Beach have really good teams this season. I think both of those Teams can make it to the State Title Game and have a great shot at winning it all. We shall see.
