Cane Bay vs Dutch Fork

Post by DFOLDMAN »

Don't know much about CB. They have a good record. Won a war with Ashley Ridge in double overtime to advance to the 2nd round. I believe they are primarily a running team, offensively. Defense seems to be pretty good. Only had a couple games where they gave up 28+. Have to see what happens. DF still has the penalty bug that they need to clean up. Game at a time.
This is Dutch Fork's time of the year. Offense is scoring 56.2 points a game and 500+yards a game in total offense. The defense is giving up an average of 10.3 points a game. Get after it Foxes.

cane bay couldnt score enough if they was in a massage parlor with 1000 dollars, it will be easy, ashley ridge aint much more than a bottom feeder, we played the ridge and lost by 14 to zip and we aint awesome in 2021. I felt like i was watching a book club, no emotions from play from stags, brown still doing surgery to cut out the cancer from within.

Little passing. Lots of wing-t.

I see y’all having no problems with them.

Defense seems to be Cane Bay's strength. Their defense will need to show up. Shutting down a TK offense is easier said than done. DF is averaging almost 11 yards a snap. Williams, Sowell, Green, Patterson, the TEs and OL can move the football. You have to be able to keep pace scoring with the Foxes, and the DF defense has tightened their shot group as the season has progressed. Only giving up 3 points total in the last 3 games. I believe a balanced attack is the best approach to DF. Run oriented or pass oriented teams seem to have bigger problems. The Foxes have faced some Wing T teams in the past. DF still need to work on the penalty bug....(Homer Moment Warning Coming Up)- the games I've seen this year the striped shirts have had it out for DF; seems like they are trying anything to make the game competitive...just my two cents...
Just have to wait and see. Hopefully, Coach Knotts will have them in the right frame of mind, the right schemes and the penalty issues worked out. The first round is over and it is serious football time now.

If we both win on Friday night, it may be look like y’all are playing Irmo with as much yellow that there may be on the field. Y’all should still put up enough points though. We can’t stay onsides, and apparently we can’t run the ball without holding.
