How in the world does Jennings still have a job in Darlington!?!?

His seat should be on fire by now.
It's funny because he's fat!

Didn't the coach at pendleton get hired very late? Surely he can get a 2nd year. As well as the the coach at Socastee. He had a good year in year 1.

Socastee coach Ben Hampton is just in his second year. He’s a proven winner in NC and has a big rebuild job there. His numbers were way down but he’s got them moving in the right direction although their record didn’t show it. Covid has slowed things down too.

West Oak’s former coach didn’t want to play varsity ball this fall and so he left 2 weeks before the season. The only coach that could make them a consistent winner is Tom Knotts and I don’t think he even knows what a West Oak is.

I don't think anybody could make West Oak a consistent winner. Anybody that wins 5 games would get a statue

North Augusta has an interim coach. Not sure what the final result will be.

Speaking of North Augusta, what happened to Thomas down there? They were never a threat to be Dutch Fork, but we're pretty decent. Did he just retire, or did some in power decide that they should be winning more?

Someone in power didn't like the fact that he didn't take us further in the playoffs so he was removed and made AD. Personally I didn't like him at first but as time went on and I got to know him he was a great guy. The kids liked him and played hard for him. Hated to see him go, especially with what we wound up with. Winning state championships is great but the new coach has created a lot of problems. I've never seen as many kids leave our program in almost 50 years of watching as I have in this one season.
