BEAUFORT 30 SOUTH FLORENCE 14 FINAL

Beaufort completely dominated South Florence in a BIG 30-14 win over South Florence last night to open up the Class 4A State Playoffs. The Bruins had a very hard time stopping Beaufort's Offense on the night and they had a hard time moving the ball on Beaufort's Really good Defense all night. It was a very good win by My Eagles.

Beaufort QB Tyler Haley had a huge night throwing the Football. Haley threw 2 TD'S to Eagles WR Zyrin Odom. Beaufort RB Amairee Morris had a big night running the football. Beaufort Kicker Joe Caprarola had a huge night kicking the ball with 3 Field Goals on the Night. He made a 41,40, and a 28 yard Field Goal. I said in my prediction on this game that Beaufort's Kickers would have a great game and I was right. . What a game by that Beaufort Defense!!!! The Eagles "D" kept the Bruins Offense in check for most of the Night. Beaufort's DL had a huge night as did the rest of the Eagles Defense.

Beaufort's Offense did not have any turnovers. So I was very happy to see that, especially in the rainy weather. One of the South Florence Coaches came up to me before the game and said that he follows me on this Board, on social media and on Twitter. That is so cool that he knew who I was. He was a very nice Guy! The other South Florence Coaches who were in the Pressbox came down after the game and we talked. All of them were so nice. They were talking to me about how good Beaufort was and they think My Eagles can beat Myrtle Beach and also have a great shot at winning a State Title. I sure hope they are right. . I truly believe that this is one of Beaufort's Best football teams in Years and have a great shot at a State Title this season. I want to say congrats to South Florence on their Good season and wish them the best of luck next year.

It was great seeing SF Band dad and having dinner with him at Buffalo Wild Wings after the game. Thanks so much for treating us to Dinner SF Band dad!!!! We really appreciated it!!!! SF Band dad ate his crow and talked about how well Beaufort looked. . Thanks again SF Band dad. I hope to see you again soon.

Well, I am still celebrating this BIG WIN. Beaufort did look really, really good!!!! I hope that they can continue it next week. Beaufort improves to 9-2 on the Season and will make the trip next week to North Augusta in the 2nd round of the 4A Playoffs.

It has been a great Football Weekend for me as both My Eagles and Gamecocks won!!!!

I wanted to also say about this game last week, how proud I am of the great Coaching done by Beaufort's Coaching Staff. They had a really great game plan for this game. Beaufort really looked good in this game. I hope that they can continue to play like that. I loved the fake punt call on Beaufort's Opening Series and I also loved the pass play to Eamon. I hope that Beaufort does those same plays sometime again in the playoffs.

The football team is not overlooking Aiken but I am. No disrespect to Aiken at all. It’s just unfortunate for them to get caught up into something they can’t handle.
Our region was not weak far from it South Florence just got caught by a very good Beaufort team at the right time.
Overall it was a good year for the bruins and I think they will eventually turn the tables on everybody in the future because just so much talent in all three of those Florence schools.
Doug Shaw will be rocking like a pirate ship full of gold next week.

Our region was not weak far from it South Florence just got caught by a very good Beaufort team at the right time.
Overall it was a good year for the bruins and I think they will eventually turn the tables on everybody in the future because just so much talent in all three of those Florence schools.

Unlike a certain team from your Region, we will not be looking past Friday night and a tough game againt a tough North Augusta squad. And should it happen that we manage to find a way to win this Friday night, playing in a very tough place to play, we will be honored to play the winner of your game with Aiken. Apparently those Green Hornets have found something late in the year. I love this time of the year, when we get to see some cross-state games that we seldom see during the regular season because of travel times.

And, what in the world has gotten into the Red Foxes? They are lighting up the scoreboard every week. When we were looking at the brackets late in the season, I told BEF that the one team from Region 6 that I didn't want to have to play in the 1st round, was Hartsville. I have no doubt as to how strong that Region was this year. We kind of knew that in order to get where we want to go, that a trip to the Beach would have to happen. I have only been to Doug Shaw once, and it was for a MB vs. Hartsville game one week while I was there on a weekend getaway.

I am seeing an aweful lot of gum-bumping about how soft the Lower State is in 4A this season. I honestly think that there are at least 5 teams left in our bracket that would play a terrific game against any team from the Upper State. Time will tell, and the games aren't played on paper, or by record, they are played by a group of guys on the field on Friday nights, and when any team gets it going, they can be hard to stop.

Anybody can lose because the best team doesn’t always win. Personal matchups with players can derail the best game plan. Beaufort is one team that can. I think we all got a 50-50 shot at this thing regardless of what happened in the regular season. I’ll be pulling for the lower state champs to win state.
Aiken could surprise me I don’t know and if they beat us I’ll be eating unsalted crow for thanksgiving and beyond. They’ll need to bring their A game or stop off in Charleston and borrow a few fort d players then maybe?

Hey Itsmeoclock, I am like Penguin. I don't want to think ahead yet. Beaufort has to take care of business against North Augusta and Myrtle Beach will have to take care of Aiken. But I am hoping and praying that we get to play next week!!!! .

BWAHAAAHAA. Same song, second verse. Another mod makes a mistake and then tries to blame me. So predictable, yet so sad. I am living rent free in both of your heads. I love it. Neither one of you will EVER admit to being wrong and my being right. So go right ahead and delete this post too. But I am not the one with a million dollar mouth writing a check that my 10 cent butt can't cash. Making me look bad cetrainly doesn't make you look good. Not even enough class to congratulate a good football team on playing a good game. Even your coaching staff was cordial and congratulatory after the game. You should be setting a good example for others on this board. But just like everything else in today's world, you have chosen to put yourself above evryone, and everything, else.

BTW, congratulations on your team having a very good bounce-back season. See how easy that is? I don't have to like you, don't have to agree with you, or anything else like you, in order to be civil and show some respect. But like my father told me, he said: "Son, never expect any more out of a pig, than a grunt." Learning to show more humility would surely make all of us better. So for whatever I have done to make you feel the way that you do, I am sorry. I respect your team, players, coaches, and staff. You guys had a great season and hopefully learned some things to make you better in the upcoming seasons. It takes time to learn how to win. We have been fighting that for a couple of years now. I hope that those lessons from the past seasons manage to help us this year. If not, the world will not end, and bridges do not need to be burned. So find some peace, I have and it feels great.
