Well, it's round 3. Nothing easy anymore (unless you're Dutch Fork).
South Pointe has been playing well lately. Some games they've looked very average and some games they're really good. If they play like they've played the last few weeks, they'll be a very tough out. This game should be a good one.

Me too! South Pointe is good but I say bring it. Liner has made the Greenwood kids a hell of a lot tougher mentally and physically than they were before when they were under pippin. Nothing against those kids that played under pippin (wasn't their fault) but toughness as a football team is something that has to be coached. That way when you play a team just as good as you (like SP) you won't flinch. You'll BATTLE. Long as we hold onto the ball we can beat any team left in these playoffs.

I'd like to see Greenwood win just because I enjoy seeing a traditional power getting their act back together down there these days. But South Pointe is playing very well these days. That school just churns out athletes for some reason, and when they get their heads on their shoulders just a little bit, they can be scary.

Should be a tough game. Greenwood should win the game as long as the don't turn the ball over. South Pointe put us out last year so this game should be a revenge type of game.

South pointe is good.... I mean really good. Will be a tough challenge. Just to keep things in perspective..... The only team that's been able to stop Greenwood this year has been Dutch Fork. Crazy thing is everyone tries to crash hard on our fullback and the other players step up and the fullback STILL gets his hundred plus yards! So pick your poison. You have to try and stop our QB from running it, our full back from running it, and the two other backs from running it. Just when you think you got that figured out then we'll throw it on you. Greenwoods offense is tough to defend... I don't care who you are.

I agree but keep in mind the reason why all that works is because we have football players who have been taught how to BLOCK. Seems to be a lost art in todays game. The OFFENSIVE LINE for greenwood has done an EXCELLENT JOB this year. They aren't all 6'5 290 but they are very strong and very tough. I love the brand of football Liner is coaching us to play.
