THANKSGIVING WISHES TO YOU ALL

ITS BEEN A LONG HARD YEAR FOR US AND MY SON'S FIGHT WITH BRAIN CANCER, HE IS STILL HERE AFTER A DOCTOR SAID 15 MONTHS AT THE MOST. ITS GOING ON 12, AS Y'ALL SEE HE IS STILL MOVING AND FALLS EVERY NOW AND THEN, HIS RIGHT SIDE WAS AFFECTED AND HE STRUGGLES TO USE HIS RIGHT HAND AND DOES REHAB TO KEEP IT GOING, FOR MONTHS HE JUST CRIED AND NO PARENT SHOULD HAVE TO SEE THAT. WE HAVE USED UP LOTS OF MONEY TO KEEP HIM GOING AND SO MANY MILES OF MEDICAL THINGS AND MRI AND CTS, MIDNIGHT AMBULANCE RUNS AND NIGHTS OF HURT AND TEARS AND SO MANY THINGS. BUT HIS TEARS FINALLY TURNED TO AN OCCASIONAL SMILE AND A FEW LAUGHS, HIS STRIDE HAS WENT FROM A WHEELCHAIR TO A WALKER AND YES HE DIPS A TIMES BUT WE PUT A BANDAGE ON IT AND HE GOES AGAIN. HE FINALLY GOT DISABILITY, BUT NOT ANY WHERE THE AMOUNT HE MADE AS A PROGRAMMER FOR ROPER ST FRANCIS, BUT ALL THESE BABY STEPS KEEP US GOING AND HE WILL BE 50 ON DEC 18. IN MARCH WE THOUGHT HE WOULDN'T BE HERE BY NOW. SO WE ARE STILL BLESSED WITH HIM AND LIFE . HOPE Y'ALL ALL HAVE GREAT HOLIDAYS AND AFTER THIS TERRIBLE 2021, LIFE CAN CHANGE SO MUCH BUT LIFE FINDS A WAY FOR YOU TO ADJUST AND ENJOY THE GIFTS YOU HAVE, BE IT SMALL STEPS OR GREAT LEAPS. THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME SHARE MY SON WITH YOU ALL. LOVE Y'ALL AND THIS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL FAMILY, WE TALK TRASH, BUT WE STILL LOVE EACH OTHER. THANKS FOR THE DONATIONS, YOUR HEARTS, AND LOVE. SEAN IS STILL FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT FOR 2022 TOO.

Slick, you know that Sean and your family are always in my mind. You are such a wonderful person to be so caring and supportive during these dreadful times. You are my HERO. Nobody should have to go through what has been forced upon you and your family.

I feel honored just to be your friend. I love our time chatting on the phone. Rhonda and I are here if there is anything that we can do for you. No matter how bad things are, no matter how upset that you get, always remember that I love you as a brother, and you and your family will always have a place in my heart. You guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving. You do have much to be thankful for. And when you need me to be there for you, it will take 2 Armies to keep me away. Happy Thanksgiving My Friend.

I love you brother and we will keep praying for a miracle for your son. God has certainly touched him and brought him this far.
