The No see ums in Beaufort can be very annoying..
If you don't play there alot they can be overwhelming...

I watched a couple of West Florence games on tape. While they are not flashy good, they are a really sound Football team that takes whatever you give them. Defensively, they are very sound. This game won't get away from them unless they make uncharacteristic mistakes. I look for the Knights to make this an ugly game and keep it close. Their ball control, clock eating, offense is scary good at times. Beaufort will have to play well to manage to win this one. The "Gang Green" defense will be tested.

This HUGE 4A Lower State Championship Game is only 2 days away. I am so excited about it!!!! I will get My Belly full with Turkey on Thanksgiving and then I get to watch My Eagles take down the Knights the next day. .

Doodles has Beaufort favored by 4 over West Florence, Massey has Beaufort winning 27-14 over West Florence, and Calpreps has Beaufort beating West Florence 31-12. Let's hear some more thoughts and predictions on this Big Game!!!! I know that I have a great feeling about this game and will post My Prediction a little later on.

I can't comment much on Beaufort because I have not seen them play this year. However, like I have said before, this lower state is so weak that you're playing for the state runner up trophy.
West Florence has an athletic QB (it's rumored that he still lives in Darlington-not sure how they are getting away with playing him if that's the case) and RB offensively but that's it. Their defense is predictable as well and not very good. Due to this weak scheduling/competition, they've had some success. If you have been to any of their games, then you also know that for whatever reason they have caught a lot of breaks from officials; take that how you want.
The old cliches' of "sometimes luck is better than skill" and "sometimes the ball just bounces your way"-was this the case in the Beaufort/Myrtle Beach game last week? Maybe, maybe not. Overall, I think this game should be a decent one.

This HUGE GAME is today!!!! I am so, so, excited!!!! I have a great feeling that My Beaufort Eagles will win this game!!!! The tickets to this game are going fast and it should be a sell-out. The Beaufort Community is really pumped up for this game.

In order for Beaufort to win this game the Eagles Offense need to keep what they have been doing all season and that is continue to mix it up running and throwing the Football. Beaufort can hurt you running or throwing the football. Opposing defenses can't just key on one player. I look for Beaufort QB Tyler Haley to have a Huge Game. I think Haley can have a big night running the football as well as throwing the ball. West Florence's Defense has giving up some big yards with opposing QB'S running the football. I hope that Beaufort mixes it up in the passing game with throwing some deep balls to Zyrin Odom and some short passes to Kacy Fields, McCleod Reichel, Amariee Morris, and Dennison. I think that Amariee Morris will have a big night running the Football for Beaufort.

Beaufort's defense will need to stop the West Florence running game. The Knights don't throw the ball a whole lot but they do throw it sometime to help open up the run game. West Florence RB Terry McKithen has almost 1700 rushing yards this season. So the Eagles Defense will need to key on him and keep him from getting big gains. Knights QB Deuce Hudson also loves to run the Football. So Beaufort's DL and LB'S will need to get some pressure on Hudson to keep him from running the football. If The Eagles "D" can stop the Knights from running the football then I think My Eagles will win Comfortably.

I look for The Eagles Nest to be packed tonight and Rocking!!!! I am so ready for this Game!!!! West Florence has a good team and is very well coached. The Knights are a little better this season than last year but Beaufort is better also. I think the score will be a little closer than last years 45-14 Beaufort win. As for My Prediction on this game....I will say.....

Our Eagles win this game with SPEED. Too much speed from our offensive, and too much speed from our defense. West Florence is a formiddable foe, and they will not go away easily. I see this as a 2 score game.
