That's what I heard. Rumor is he told the school he couldn't come because something to do with the conditions of his wife's pervious divorce.

Heard through the grapevine they offered it to a Conway coach and he accepted. Admin doesn't want to open it back up because it will embarrass them.

Gene should’ve stayed at Greenwood but really he should’ve been offered the Daniel job after Sitterle left .
If he had come home we would be sitting on 13 or 14 titles now. After leaving for Seneca it’s been nothing but bad mojo.
