Good group....might have LR and Oceanside a little higher and Wren a little lower. Unless DWD comes completely off the track no team will get within 3 TDs of them in the regular season and will be rested for the playoffs...will be issuing some whuppins' ....West-Oak game may break the scoreboard. Not sure about the team from Georgia but don't look too tough or Greer for that matter...should be a smooth run.

That looks perfect for a preseason top 10. Nothing on that list jumps out as out of place to me. My Eagles only true test will be against South Summerville in our first game. Playing what most people think is a top 5 team, two classifications above us, will only make us better, win or lose. We will have to have 6 flat tires and the radio broken, to not win our region. That will put us in a strong position to start the playoffs. That is when the real fun begins.

Somewhere on that top ten has to be Clinton Powdersville and possibly Gilbert

Powdersville beat wren twice last year and have most of their key players returning

Clinton is still in the rebuilding process but have made tremendous strides and I think they are better than say a Chapman at this point

Gilbert has been consistently knocking on the door the last 3 years. Including destroying Dillon 2 years ago.

BTW Oceanside is moving down to 2a next year so they should not be in any 3a top ten.

Gilbert has been consistently knocking on the door the last 3 years. Including destroying Dillon 2 years ago.

Dub....true. Forgot Clinton. They are a top 10 team for sure. Not certain what Powdersville brings back. Gilbert is always a solid team. If there is any threat to DWD at all this season it will have to come from the Lower State...Dillon and Beaufort....maybe LR.

Good to keep Clinton off the list for now. They’ve lost a lot of players, that senior class they had was huge in all sports and especially football.

I think Clinton is out of any rebuilding phase. They are there, and probably on an annual basis. Do agree that they have passed Chapman. Chapman has slipped from their dominant status from a couple years back.

But as long as Daniel is rolling around in 3A, discussions of anybody is winning it all is probably a mute point
