Gaffney loses most of its linebackers and was hit hard on the O line and D line..secondary and receivers should be solid …look for suga Jeffries who caught the game winner in the state game and Quay Tate to see time at TB..both are capable of taking it to the house if the o line does the job…Brayshon Littlejohn is the player to watch..some of you might remember his Dad Bradshaw..Gaffney o line was underrated last season..that’s always the key for Gaffney..dang penalties alone..

Seem’s last year and this year there are different coaching responsibilities ..Rick Scott joins the staff this year as QB coach and that leaves us at the QB position..Kid has grit..last year he did what many pretty decent white QB’s haven’t done since the 70’s at Gaffney…he won that team trust and they went to war for him..

Come that first hint of cool weather …when the women folk break out their new fox fur…the smoke fires of ambush will rise over Title town again..

Gaffney just always has to much talent hanging around.
Seems Jones finally has it figured out with the right coaches in place. They may or may not win it , but they’ll definitely have a say in who does win it.

No, Boiling Springs can't be competitive in that region.

We will see how it works out, but was a bit confused about the Dorman hire. Sometimes people fall upward.

And for Shaws sake, Byrnes better be very good. Lots of folks at Byrnes are getting tired of waiting on the Rebels return to elite status.

No excuses for the Rebs this year. The roster is as loaded as in being in many years, definitely the most talent since Shaw has come. The defense will be solid, oline is very good, may have the best backfield in state with plenty of weapons in offense. I think it’s Columbia or bust this year.

What’s so funny?? I didn’t make any predictions about the season and the statement about best backfield in the state will be true. If the Vikings start slow, you will quietly disappear as you always do.

I didn't say they would make it. I said for this coaching staff I feel like that is what's needed to possibly remain in place. 2014 isn't that close either man.

Word on the street is Burns got into a few scuffles at their 7on7. Will there be any potential suspensions handed down if this is true? Anyone know anything about this?

Friday night Byrnes beat Kings Mt with a Verrrrry last or no second on the clock jump ball and players stormed the field and of course with Kings Mt players and coaches thinking it should have not counted it became more of words and the two teams were quickly separated! maybe a few pushes but didn't look to be anything like a brawl!

Saturday it was some back and forth with Mallard Creek! As that game went on you could see it taking a turn for the bad! Think a coach from Mallard Creek even got ejected!
No physical altercation

Burns didn’t play at Byrnes this weekend. Not sure who you are referring to.

Your number 2 may not even be top 10.

I will see them at one or two 7 on 7 tournaments this summer season.

I know they lost a lot the the top talent but I expect them to still be a top team with the transfer RB Davain Brown from First Baptist and Zolten Osborne back as the main feature under center. They should be returning several DBs that saw a lot of time as well.

We really won't even get a true preview of them until August Scrimmages. 7 on 7 tournaments are not that great because they lack the run game and the O-Line & D-Line. Games can be won or lost in the trenches.
