well, we went from the er dr's opinion to the cancer doctors thoughts today

Sean has been crushed since the er doctors thoughts on the mri in emergency room the weekend, the cancer doctor told sean this afternoon, nothing as changed other than sean has had a seizure and they have changed his meds to help the seizure, and the er doc should have called the cancer doc not tried to read the mri, sean has had a growth called an AVM in his head before tumor and the cancer doc said that is what the er doc saw not another tumor, so sean finally came out of death funk and has perked up some today. so its always a roller coaster ride with cancer, highs and lows. so he has his hope back up after talking to his cancer doc, so we continue this trip, a little better but always on the edge of our fears. thanks for all the love. we need some breaks and some good things for a while.

Right. Most doctors are good people, but not infallible. Two years ago an ER doc sent me home with a diagnosis of acid reflux. 10 days later I was in the ICU in heart failure.

Glad to hear that Sean is doing better, mentally and physically. Hope you and his mom can climb back down from the cliff, so to speak. That does have to be a very difficult situation for everyone.
