Colby calls DF out all the time....I can't refute him. We had new players show up...fill the gaps that were needed...its like magic. But it's truly magic, not recruiting!!

I know that Dutch Fork gets called out all the time now, and when you see the number of players who show up in their 10th or 11th grade who used to play somewhere else, OBVIOUSLY, they were recruited. What else could it be?
Of course, it happened ay Byrnes as well ten to fifteen years ago.
Most of the time when that happens, it is the player or the parents who wanted to move to be a part of the program that is winning. Sometimes, it was a current player who knew someone and "invited" them to check out his team and then a player is doing the recruiting. And sometimes, a coach will actually recruit a player... an assistant coach or even a fan will see someone and mention how great they would fill a need on their team.
But to see player posting on Social Media, does that not SCREAM, "I'm moving purely for football reasons." (Which according to the SCHSL rules, draws a one year of ineligible status)
I'm telling you...it's magic. No recruiting...that's my story.

Bentley and Knotts are cut from the same mold..win at all cost while skirting the rules..shame they let their ego’s overshadow their great coaching ability…
BUT…it’s just sweeter when you beat em..
Oldman, I ain't calling DF out. I do, however, call out Knotts. More so from the Indy days. A lot of it is to lure Btango out from the shadows.
Look, it's obvious that he is a very good coach. I am sure there are parents/kids that are eager to relocate to be a part of the "magic" on their own accord.
I know it was a long time ago, but pert near everyone (except btango, whom by the way I think IS Knotts) on USA Today Super 25 forum accepted it as truth that Knotts was recruiting. I mean...people from all over the country. People in the "know".
Mikey, your last sentence stung...but I can see the truth in it. I wonder if Oldman knows about the sledgehammer incident....
And on a side note....all us upstate boys wanna know who is better down there in the low country.
Is it Fork Dorchester, or Dutch Fort? We don't hear much about either up here in title town...
"We opened the door to everyone. Its over."
