The Spartanburg Vikings will open their 22-23 football season on August 20th 2022 in Ga.
The Vikings will be playing in the Freedom Bowl against powerhouse Langston Hughes. This will
be the final of four games scheduled that weekend. There are 8 teams competing in this year bowl, with 4 states
being represented. Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Good luck to the Vikings, make SC proud!!

Spartanburg will rep the state well in Atlanta. Langston Hughes is a pretty good team. Should be strong team.
