Chapin Jamboree Tonight

Post by bigdog2003 »

I'm planning on going. I don't know if I'll stay for all of it, but I want to see some football after driving to Saluda Monday night only for the scrimmage to get cancelled. Start time is 6:30, usually they show it on the Chapin youtube channel.

Mid Carolina vs Irmo
Spring Valley vs Newberry
Gray Collegiate vs Westwood
Chapin vs Fairfield Central

Irmo 35, MC 7: I got there when it was 7-7, and it was all Irmo after that.

Spring Valley 7, Newberry 6: the young Bulldogs moved the ball at will, but got stopped on downs inside the 20 multiple times. A missed XP was the difference. Spring Valley scored with 35 seconds left, after not gaining a first down for most of the jamboree. The Bulldog defense was flying to the ball. A lot of young guys starting on both sides, but Coach Jeter has them fired up.

Gray was up 7-0 on Westwood when I left with storms approaching.
