Edited: A link for online purchases from a PC has been posted on twitter.
No cash sales. Pay extra at the gate, debit/credit only.
I find it ironic that they used a $10 bill back-ground in this tweet since they won't be accepting them. Printed on that bill is the notation, "This note is legal tender. For all debts public and private."
Apparently not.

I wonder if concessions has a no cash policy.

Processing card purchases has a cost, is it less costly than collecting and depositing cash? I guess it does reduce the opportunity for.... misappropriation.
Marketing 101: Don't make it hard for your (potential) customers to buy your product and pay you. It used to be a joke, "Do you take cash?". Now it has become reality.

Come on up to Newberry, we never stopped taking cash at the gate. The whole online ticket thing has really cut back on the games I go to. I use to get in the car around 6 on a Friday night with no idea of what game I was going to. Now, I just sit home and watch games online for free. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I just purchased my $5 ticket for tonight's scrimmage with Sumter and had to pay a $1.49 fee to do so.
