No such thing as 'free air' any longer!

Gomer always said that 'air and water are free', but the 'air' part is no longer true sadly.
The other day, my tires were looking a little low, so I took them to a Newberry place to have them checked.
After they did it, they charged me five dollars!
I said that I'd been driving for close to 40 years and had never had to pay for air, so why now?
"Inflation' , they said.
