I figured, but still had to say it. I wonder if anybody has ever been fired for “bad performance” at Conway in any sports? If they couldn’t stop Hartsville’s run they sure won’t be able to stop Aynor’s (haha). Conway is turning into a homecoming game for everyone!

I was there. Conway did not look disciplined on defense. I did see some pretty good size and athleticism.

I think that Hartsville's Carmello McDaniel is a better RB than anyone Aynor will have, but I will say that Aynor's rushing attack looked good against Wilson.

Why has nobody said Carlton Terry at Conway?

11-27 over the last 5 years.
10-2 in his interim season (year 1).

Empty stands. Correct me on this, but only 35-37 players on the roster at a school of 1500 students? Loris has 45+ (3A). I’m not sure who they could beat in their schedule this year and it’s not all that tough. Maybe Loris or Aynor? I’m doubting they’ll even be able to do that. I think they scheduled those for automatic wins and it turns out they’re probably better. Sad day in Conway, tradition being lost.
Actually I think his record is 10-27…..and the JV hasn’t won more than 2 or 3 games at best either. They were winless last season! Everything else you mentioned was spot on! But one thing that has slipped by some is the depreciation of the quality/experience of the assistant coach’s he keeps hiring. He has added at least two guys with zero coaching experience at any level and 3 more that are retired career Rec league/B-team coach’s! When he was named interim HC that wasn’t the case. That team went 10-2! Since then he has managed to remove some, run some off, and others just left because they saw the direction things were headed.

I’ve heard CT was told win this year or else! But I heard that last year too. So we’ll see. This season should be different judging by what HE has said. He has14 returning starters back! He has the staff he wants! He also said the “skies the limit” for this team! So the “100% ZERO EXCUSES” slogan they have adopted needs to be put to the test! They’ve said “the kids aren’t buying in”. They’ve said “the fans aren’t supporting”. They’ve said “Covid has hurt”, like they were the only ones effected. So I say again “100% ZERO EXCUSES!”

I know 100’s of fans that are waiting patiently for things to change. They would all gladly rejoin the booster club, start attending games and supporting with Corp. sponsorship. If the powers that be would admit they made a mistake and fix it! Kids are missing opportunities with the lack of coaching and development! After all, isn’t it about them anyway!

As we both know, if it was all about the kids a lot of pink slips would get handed out.

To be honest, I've never payed attention to Conway, that's why he wasn't on my list.

Andy Pool at Cheraw High School should be on the hot seat!
Interesting.... What makes you say this???
Poole hasn't lost all too much, he only has 1 losing season. Is he losing the support of the community or the players?
I guess Marlboro County blowing out Cheraw 40-12 doesn't help your opinion, huh?

May not be this year without a total collapse, which would be hard in that cupcake region they are in, but I the chair in the office of one Harry Cabanass felt a little warm this morning. That program is used to winning at a high level. If last night wasn't just a fluke, they won't put up with it.for long.
Which program are you referring to in this post?

Just backs up my previous statement that Poole along with the AD need to be relieved of their duties at Cheraw High School. Loosing to a team lead by a real coach that hasn't even been at Marlboro a full year is ridiculous. That coach cares about building a program and getting community support. Poole, not so much!
