Fri 08/26 Northwestern @ Clover

Does anyone have any thoughts on this one?

Most people "assume" Northwestern should win big over Clover. Will they? Does the margin of victory really matter? Does a "W" in a non-region game really any different than a "L" as playoff seedings are based on one's region record.

Northwestern has 2 periods of playing Dutch Fork basically even and 4 periods dominating Rock Hill.

Each game is different and Clover is not Rock Hill.

Don't know anything about Clover except this is their first game.

Final score? Here's hoping Northwestern scores 42+ to get the game into a running clock with no stupid mental mistakes and both teams leave the field with no injuries.

After being a upstate citizen for 5 years in Clover ...(Lake Wylie) ....I can safely say that Clover wont roll over and play dead on yall!

Northwestern is without a doubt a fav in 4 a this year. They have a game already under their belt, albeit against Rock Hill. This will be kinda like a 1st game of sorts for Northwestern as well. Here's to wishing both teams the best of luck. I believe Northwestern will win, but with my family being from Clover I'm hoping they pull it out.

Hard to know much right now about anyone. Clover has a jamboree under their belt which like the DF deal is pretty meaningless. The RH game showed Northwestern's ability to execute on offense and an opportunity to gain some live fire experience on defense. One advantage NHS has is the first game Friday night jitters are gone and a lot of confidence. Clover hasn’t experienced Friday night yet.

Though I have no idea what Clover has on their side my prediction is the Trojans score 50+ this week. Clover will score and get some stops so I’m not going the running clock route. The other factor is the game being at Clover. They show up and are passionate. There isn’t anything Cover would like more that to knock the Trojans off their pedestal of 89 points.

I’m looking forward to a 4 quarter football game.

Rock Hill is very bad lost to South Pointe 35-0 today in a game called before second half kickoff because of the humidity level on the field.
