I have never been to a high school game with such distracting and annoying music blaring while the visitor team had the ball to point you couldn’t even hear the home crowd or band.
 I have to agree. It was too loud and, on several occasions, they left it on until after SP had hiked the ball. I didn't like it last year when WF did it to us, and I didn't like it last night. Somebody must have said something, after the 1st quarter they were killing the music when the SP offense was set instead of waiting for the ball to be hiked.

I thought there would be a rule against it but the only thing I could find are these guidelines for PA Announcers: https://schsl.org/archives/1407
6. Never talk over the action. Understand the appropriate information to be announced and the proper time in which to announce for each sport.

I was there and I commented about it. I can't believe the referee didn't try to get it stopped. QB is a stud. Can't believe they don't let him throw more.

South Pointe’s starting running back didn’t dress for this game also. Usually, South Pointe is pretty good at next man up, but even their receivers were dropping balls this game. It was a slew of miscues for the South Pointe offense. I also noticed some clock operator mismanagement this game, but some home-cooking does seem to happen from time to time throughout the state

I don’t want to take anything away from the South Florence players. They have a good team this year and I hope more people get to see them play this year and they make a good run in the playoffs. Still lots of football left to play for everyone.

Sometimes if you lose a good player everything can fall apart. I’ve seen it happen before.

Enthusiasm is the name of the game for high school football. It is the driver of success and it is contagious and infectious. If you don’t have things go south bad. If you get it you are suddenly tackling better, blocking better, etc. I hope I’m off to see the SF vs MB game. I’ve been really curious to hear from 5thqtr this week about the Stallions. He has been silent for a little while now.
