Beaufort is coming into this game with a record of 6-1 Overall and 2-0 in Region 8 3A. The Eagles are Avg. 25 points a game and giving up 11 points a game. Beaufort was off last week. The Eagles have a record of 2-1 in Away Games so far this season.

North Charleston is coming into this game with a record of 3-6 Overall and 0-3 in Region 8 3A. The Cougars are Avg. 21 points a game and giving up 23 points a game. North Charleston is coming off a 42-6 loss to Philip Simmons. The Cougars have a record of 1-2 in Home Games so far this season.

Beaufort has a record against North Charleston of 12-8-3. These 2 teams haven't played against one another since 1999 though. I am really looking forward to this game and my first trip to the New District 4 Stadium. I heard that this stadium is pretty nice. It is only a few years old. This game is being played on Thursday Night because North Charleston shares this stadium with 3 other teams.

Doodles has Beaufort favored by 44 points over North Charleston. Massey has Beaufort favored by 42 points over North Charleston. What does everyone think about this Region 8 3A Game? Gilbert, Dillon, and Camden are all looming on the horizon. Hanahan, next week, is our most important game of the year.........up till now. Last season we traversed the minefield of South Florence, North Augusta, Myrtle Beach, and West Florence, on our way to getting our butts kicked, our feelings hurt, and completely humiliated, by South Pointe at Benedict.

We face a similar journey, be it in Class AAA this year. The Eagles have been far less dominant this year, yet managed to win every game except our first one, at Fart Dorchester. We are a much different team this year, but we are playing some very good football as of late. Bryce has them primed and ready to compete every week. Coming off our Bye week, and facing North Chuck on Thursday Night on public TV, this game will speak volumes as to whether we are ready for the post season, or are willing to hang our hats on past victories.

For programs who are always at or near the top, the Football season truly starts the first week in November. Until then, every game is just pre season in preparation for games that really matter. Beaufort will find out in our next 2 games, whether we are ready to be elevated into that group, or just an occasional one hit wonder. We shall see.

Thanks for your input on this game stretch! I really appreciate it and hope that you are right. If both Hanahan and Beaufort win this week then you are so right. Next week's game will be HUGE and the winner will take the Region 8 3A Title. I am getting so excited thinking about that. I sure hope that it happens!

I sure hope so DeCav!!!! But there is still a lot of football to be played. Beaufort does have a pretty good team this year and should have a great shot at doing well in the 3A Playoffs.

This Region 8 3A Game is Tomorrow. I can't wait!!!! I hope that My Eagles can play a great game tomorrow and come out with the key Region win. It will be Thursday Night Lights in North Chuck.

In order for Beaufort to win this game...I think the Eagles will have to do what they have done all season, and that is to play tough defense, and not have any turnovers on Offense. I hope to see Beaufort Sophomore QB Samari Bonds continue to get better. I want to see him complete some long passes in this game and to run the ball a little more. I am looking again to seeing Beaufort RB/ATHLETE Kacy Fields to having another huge game for The Eagles. I want to see McCleod Reichel, Colton Phares, and Michael Dennison have great games catching the football.

Beaufort's defense will have to put some pressure on North Charleston QB Tyrell Gadsden. Gadsden has the tendency to throw a lot of Interceptions if you put pressure on him. Gadsden does have a good arm though and can hurt you running the football. The Cougars have 2 good WR'S in Gary Mcdaniel Jr and Xzaivon Capers. North Charleston's Defense has given up a lot of yards to opposing teams.

Ok, as for my prediction on this game...I will say... that Beaufort should have a pretty easy win.

If you folks make it to the weekend of champions, it would be an honor to sit with your group. I'm not inclined to believe Pengy ever forgave me for deleting a post of his from my Facebook wall he posted that I deemed not representative of my character. Strange enough indeed since my wife never held it against me when I removed her own inappropriate contributions on my wall but she is one of rather thick skin.

In any case, I hope to see you there and cheer for your Eagles. No one playing with Monopoly money would be accused of predicting my Cavs will be competing that weekend.
