Greenwood and Emerald both have some of the most mentally weak football players I’ve ever seen.

Dubose is doing better than I thought this season but they still underachieve mostly due to character/toughness.

That could still happen
Players quitting on the field is hard to fix.
Well you could tell when they had their 3rd or4th turnover( they were happening so fast I couldn’t keep up), then you see the players going at each other. I will also say I was surprised at the crowd that Greenwood brought or the lack there of. Not that Greenville’s was overwhelming.

It's not going to happen. The AD and the coach are very close. Porter gets paid well at Greenville now. I doubt he tries to go anywhere. The best I can see them doing is hiring new assistant coaches. They wanted somebody from Greenwood. That's why Liner was chosen.

Hard to pay a coach $100,000 a year with those ticket sales. That is horrible.
In all fairness, Sirrine holds around 16,000 people. They aren't going to fill that up with a regular high school game.

That want even enough people to say all the kids parents were there. Cmon it’s freaking Greenwood eagle football with the region championship on the line. I’m sorry I’m a Daniel fan , we travel and pack it out. Seneca last week it was elbow to elbow.

I've seen Greenville and I am sold on them. I believe they have the talent to go deep into the playoffs. Discipline, not so much! If Greenwood gets them rattled this could be a one possession game. If Greenville stays focused, this could be a three or four possession win for the Red Raiders. The speed of Greenville could be the difference in the game. The WR's are fast and manage to get open a lot! I'd have to say that the Raiders win by two TDs.
I’m guessing that Greenville stayed focused and Greenwood helped them.

I'm thinking about entering the transfer portal!
