Gaffney will have to get lost or forget to get off the bus for a Byrnes to win. This game will look like any Byrnes games all year. Defense will keep Byrnes in it all night but Byrnes’ below average offense and a coach afraid to bench his son will lead to Gaffney pulling away in the end. Way too much talent in Duncan to keep going 6-6, 6-5 every year.

Indians hate losing to the Rebels but I think cooler heads will prevail over bragging rights and sit some of the starters out in a meaningless game (as far as the playoffs are concerned)

I thought same thing especially with home advantage throughout playoffs! Wishful thinking but could be rematch in round 3 @ Gaffney

Just been frustrating watching all this talent and getting these results!

Maybe just maybe the Bye week got some guys healthy and made some changes to the offense?

Will take 2 defensive tds to get 31. The offense isn’t going to change until Byrnes mindset changes. They have played not to lose in games where teams had similar talent. Ex: Dorman, SHS and West Florence. This has been the case for years now, not sure it changes without a change at the top. With the talent in Duncan, this game should be two teams playing for a region title, instead Byrnes seems to remain average as a team with Top 3 talent.
