I'm not sure what criteria the At-Large Committee will use, but I doubt a team with a record of 1-4 region, 1-9 overall will make the cut.

Just saw that on twitter Ian Guerin, who has been doing a great job covering this, found that in the bylaws “If a school is forced to forfeit more than one game that affects playoff seeding, they are ineligible for playoffs.”

So they are out unless they win the second appeal.

I wonder when they added that to the Bylaws. Several years ago, Byrnes self-reported an ineligible player a few hours before a first round game. The forfeit should have affected the seeding, but the HSL didn't reshuffle the bracket and didn't disqualify Byrnes. That was a very hot topic over at PFT when it happened.
