In other words, the end of the road for my Cavs, yes?
SpartanburgViking95 has staked his reputation on the fact that Dorman will go down Friday night.
I love it. I love a game we're not supposed to win. No pressure. No expectations. Dorman has proved to be a pretty straightforward team that does not pass the ball well and struggles in the kicking game. Other than that, we're pretty solid.
It would actually be a lot more frustrating to me if the odds were even that we could win because I'd be a lot more nervous about the game.
It should be fun. DFold, you wanna meet up? Can I sit with you? SPV95 will tell you I'll behave.
Official Unofficial Dorman @ Dutch Fork- Dutch Fork wins 35-18, right? lol

I'll be on a deer hunting trip this weekend and I am going to miss this game. Spending more time up at our place at Caesars Head and less time in Ballentine of late.DeCav wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 9:29 pmIn other words, the end of the road for my Cavs, yes?

Hopefully, DF limits the turnovers and penalties and continues the good line play on both sides of the ball.

Well DF start their week one Region two gauntlet
This is what the fans all wanted to see ! I think Coach Knotts will use this to have his team ready to play! If Dorman could throw just a little bit this would be a toss up! Coach TK will have a plan to shut run down
DF 42
Dorman 21

I also expect Dorman's kicking game to be a liability.
DF will key on the run all night and force us to pass it which is what they should do. I think if Dorman has a trick play in the playbook, we might see it Friday night in a close game.
I'm not sure what to expect but I haven't seen the Cavs lay down yet this year. The thing I'm always interested to see is which quarter will be flat for each team.

Dorman and Dutch Fork have a few opponents in common for reference. I can't think of a scenario where Dutch Fork would have to come from behind in the 4th quarter to beat Mauldin...they've faced some adversity this season, but even then...not seeing a remotely close game with the Mavs, or a competitive game with River Bluff for that matter. It was 35-0 at the end of the first quarter with RB and Coach Knotts could have hung 80 on the Gators if he wanted to...but he is not like that, generally. Think he made a statement against Lexington. I wouldn't bet the farm that Fort D or Summerville will beat Lexington in Lower State...but we will see. Hopefully, the Dorman team that hung in there with Spartanburg shows up and its a good game, because if the Mauldin or River Bluff version shows up, they will get hammered- if that's the case Cav fans can leave early; construction on I-26 is a mess. We have to wait and see...DeCav wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 4:02 pmThis.likeitRnot wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 10:13 amWell DF start their week one Region two gauntletThis is what the fans all wanted to see ! Win or lose against Dorman and the rest of the way in the playoffs...the future is bright for DF. Some awesome young players coming up. Remember this name at QB...Freshman Ethan Offing. He may be the best of the lot at QB... Next few seasons are going to be fun to watch.
