I'll totes meet up with ya. I'll probably be bringing some friends.
I'm not going. My group has decided to hang around Newberry and prepare for the 1st ever SAC Championship game at Setzler Field Saturday.
Still don’t understand why Limestone ain’t playing instead of Newberry since the Saints won head to head and they are tied in conference standings..

It was a 4 way tie. Newberry, Wingate, Lenior Rhyne, and Limestone. It came down to record against the other teams tied. Newberry beat Wingate and Lenior Rhyne, Wingate beat Limestone and Lenior Rhyne, Lenior Rhyne beat Limestone. Limestone beat Newberry. Since LR and Limestone only had 1 win each, they were out. Newberry had to win last week at Wingate to win the Piedmont division.

Limestone actually beat both SAC Championship Game teams. They are the only team to beat Mars Hill this season.

DF by a bunch..Dorman is not your normal Dorman this year..I thought Boiling Springs was better ..Hard to judge both Dorman and Byrnes since Gaffney had so many penalties against both…

You been hitting the bottle again? And they will not allow you to bring those 12 ounce friends in to the game...

Well that clears things up for me.... NOT!

OK back to the original thread for a moment, I think most people would expect Dorman to pose little threat to Dutch Fork; however, the Silver Foxes better not be thinking that way. Dorman has the best OL I saw all year and can control the tempo of the game with the run. As long as they stay on track and don't see a lot of flags, keep those 3rd and 3 or less, they will march down the field. It's when they fall behind track and get into a must pass situation that things seem to fall apart. The best thing Dutch Fork could do is win the toss, take the ball and score and get Dorman behind. If they get them behind by two scores, then the odds shift to about 99% for a Silver Fox win.

Dorman 14
Dutch Fork 35

Biggest difference after the bye week was getting everyone back healthy, especially with Appler at QB and Green at RB. We have balance now and can throw the ball again. Had 4 rushing TDs and 4 passing TDs against Mauldin...got some young 9th and 10th graders a chance to have some snaps in a playoff game...good day. Since the bye week we are averaging about 200 yards a game passing and 300 yards a game rushing which is how the Foxes like to play offense. Defense is healthy and deep- a couple of D1 DBs in the secondary, the best set of LBs around with Perry, Hinton and Buetow and a deep fast DL that keeps the pressure on and chases down the ball carrier. OL is healthy again and dominant. They are the key to the success of the offense. WRs/TEs are deep and playing well. Things are beginning to click. Just have to watch the penalties and limit turnovers. Starting to gel at the right time. Since the bye week break the Foxes are 5-0 and have outscored their opponents 278-14. The telling part of that is they have outscored those opponents 191-7 in the first half...good football. Have to see how it goes against Dorman. Should be a fun game.

There is a path for Dorman to win this game. They will have to play a perfect ball control offense grinding up the clock and keeping it close and then hope that DF had some turnovers. That being said I think DF wins 35/42-14/21 type game.
