What did I miss? Realignment doesn't happen until 2024. Dutch Fork will remain where they currently are next season. So will everyone else in Class 5A, meaning that the brackets won't change either, other than home field scenarios.
This year the #1 seed and #4 seeds from Region 5 are in the upstate while the #2 seed and #3 seeds are in the lower state. I thought I read somewhere that this will flip next year(made sense). Maybe I am wrong and the upstate will get the #1 seed from Region 5 every year. I vote for this bracket setup  .
The schl will find a way to screw it all up again.
Lol.

Ahh, I hadn't heard anything about that. It does make sense though. Ooops, there is another reason why the SCHSL wouldn't do it. You are probably right. Not good news for the Lower State should that happen.

Fort D may rag doll them Saturday but I have to give a word of praise to the O Line and D Line...I know guys like Green, Appler, Hamilton, Jones, Perry, Danley, Hinton, Taylor, Beutow and the rest get all the attention, but the linemen have played lights out. Good work in the trenches Foxes!

We are big on the oline but young
They'll be there a few years.last year we averaged 300 across. This year we are bigger .
I'm guessing 20 plus pounds .
Defense is a bit smaller but quick .hard to replace 2 d1
Oners but we have 1 for sure. my worry is our coverage
And if we can pick up your lbs . Our running backs are solid .
I believe the air game will have a big impact .

Summerville was quite confusing this year.fasted kid in thr state .
Kept him bottled up .Ida kept that kid in space.
He'd never see the A or b gap

Come on Fort Dorchester Patriots you can do it. I know you’ll be the underdog but a very capable underdog. If Dutch makes any mistakes they’ll get their butts handed to them.

Getting Appler and Green back healthy was huge....we can pass now, as well as run. Good WRs in Hamilton and Jones. I was amiss not mentioning the TEs and how they figure in the blocking schemes...always big with Knotts, plus good hands. Good back up RBs when Green needs a breather with McQuire, Lodge and Anderson. DL is deep. Probably run 8 or 9 in and out...fresh legs...not super big, but big enough, strong, fast and know their roles. OL has some depth. Bookend OTs, a savvy center and athletic guards that get to the second level in a hurry. Line play has been the hero this season to me. Green is Green...Appler once healthy, has been a good QB, the LBs are probably the best set in the state with Perry, Hinton and Buetow...Danley and company in the secondary are really good. However to me...the line play has made all the difference. Have to see if they show up Saturday. FD and DF...as it should be.

Might be in for some rain tomorrow. Hope DF can play well in the rain. Not sure if we had a game in the rain this season that I can recall. The 2020 Title Game was a monsoon. Rained buckets. Don't wish that on anyone.

Another 5A title game and the Foxes have been in all of them. Proud of the Foxes, win or lose! Seven 5A titles and we have been in all of them. Hats off to Coach Knotts.
