Coach Padgett Johnson has resigned from Walhalla. Had probably the best run of any Walhalla coach ever. Only missed the playoffs once since 2016.

If he is coaching elsewhere I doubt it'll be as a head coach. He has his business to run along with being the head coach and that workload weighed on him. I could see him going to Pickens as an OC. Definitely a closer drive from his business in Easley and less stress not being the head guy.

If he has a business he is also running, that makes sense. Although Pickens might not be the most desired destination he could find to land. Pickens just isn't set up to win on a few different levels
