I am so happy that I get to watch one more Football Game and that I get to watch 5 of Beaufort's Senior Players 1 more time. The 2023 Blitz Border Bowl will be played Tomorrow January 14th at 12:00 Noon at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Georgia. This All-Star Game pits the Best Senior Players from the Lowcountry of South Carolina against the Best Senior Players from the Coastal Empire of Georgia. This is the 5th Annual Blitz Border Bowl. The series is tied 2 games apiece

The Players and Coaches really get excited about this game. It is for bragging rights on which State has the best Team. I really enjoy watching it; hopefully, it will continue for many more years. There are usually College Scouts at this game. So the players usually play hard hoping that it helps them get recruited to play College Ball. This game's proceeds go to a good cause, The Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House is for families of Sick Children in the Hospital to have a place to stay. I hope to see a Huge Crowd at this game and for the SC Team to get the win.

Slick, this wasn't just Beaufort playing in it!!!! It was a lot of different Lowcountry and Georgia players.

Well, The Coastal Empire of Georgia completely dominated the Lowcountry of SC in this All-Star Game. Georgia won 20-0 over South Carolina. The Coastal Empire of Georgia now leads this series against The Lowcountry of SC 3-2. The SC Team only had about 30 yards total offense in this game. The Coaching was questionable in this game. I heard that the Lowcountry Team only practiced for 3 days. There were some players selected for this game that opted not to play in it. I am hoping next year will be better and that The Lowcountry Team will practice more and the players selected will play in it. I still love that WSAV Channel 3 out of Savannah puts this game on every year and that all the proceeds go to The Ronald McDonald House Charities. This was the 5th year that they have had The Blitz Border Bowl and I hope that they have it for many more years. I hope to see it continue to grow. I thought the crowd there was good considering that it was windy and cold. I still enjoyed my time watching it.

Slicker, there were a lot of great players from both sides in this game. The Georgia Team just had a better team this year. I will get you to go to this game with me next year.
