Well done! You finally got it!MillHill88 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 9:14 pmWell the Wolverines have gotten their man. Big news coming in the morning. #PantherMadeTheySay

But seriously, I have known who the hire was since last Thursday and I am very excited about it and the future of our program. Our 9th and 8th grade classes are LOADED and all we needed was the right coach. I think we found him. I am looking forward to meeting him and hearing his vision for Wolverine football. I won't release his name right now, but tomorrow morning at 9 everyone will know.
Go Wolverines!
And on the eighth day, God created the Woodruff Wolverines

I've had it right all along ChainMan. When you get information I already had it for 1-2 days before you. You and the Saturday morning hardees chain crew gotta get caught up. While you were receiving your media awards (Congrats by the way) the committee was making offers and seeing who would come to Woodruff. I was the first to let everyone know, not you ChainMan. This will be the biggest hire since Brian Lane.
Sloans his name and winning balls games is his thang, Welcome Coach!!! Hot doggy next season will be fun,

Well Colby, who would you say this hire compares too? Maybe I should've said WL Varner??? Dan Dickerson? Al Roebuck?? Freddie Brown?? Your probably a young, so you would say Trey Elder right?

47 MillHill. Old enough to know what a Mill Hill is.
Miller would have been a good one.

I disagree in the strongest sense. You don't even know the man. He has coached and won at the highest levels of GA HS football which is far better as a state than we are in that regard. The man has coached elite talent and has a great vision for our program. But by all means keep running the same 5 plays over and over down at Greenwood.

Re: BIG HIRE IN WOODRUFF
Sounds like the Jimmys and Joes were the force behind the state title run, not the Xs and Os....4-6 this season. He was the O-coordinator and they averaged 14pts a game this season at Collins Hill? He knew it was time to get out. Until Clinton, Dillon, Daniel, Beaufort, Powdersville change classifications...not sure it will matter.Wolverine_Legend wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 11:53 amI disagree in the strongest sense.
