Under whelming to say the least!
I disagree in the strongest sense. You don't even know the man. He has coached and won at the highest levels of GA HS football which is far better as a state than we are in that regard. The man has coached elite talent and has a great vision for our program. But by all means keep running the same 5 plays over and over down at Greenwood.
Sounds like the Jimmys and Joes were the force behind the state title run, not the Xs and Os....4-6 this season. He was the O-coordinator and they averaged 14pts a game this season at Collins Hill? He knew it was time to get out. Until Clinton, Dillon, Daniel, Beaufort, Powdersville change classifications...not sure it will matter.

Fear The Fox...
Alright then. Powdersville was a one hit wonder. Trust me on that one. Clinton graduated 80 percent of their starters, Beaufort and Dillon are in the lower state and Daniel is about to have a bit of a drop. Meanwhile our 9th and 8th grade classes are STACKED. And I mean STACKED. We watch them every week. Sloan will win big and do so quickly. People are so quick to write us off but I promise you the return of Woodruff is CLOSE at hand.
And on the eighth day, God created the Woodruff Wolverines

Y'all hired the wrong coordinator...under your HC the Collins Hill offense averaged under 28 points a game...the defense on the other hand only gave up 15 a game. Score under 28 against any of those teams and see how it works for you. Gotta score these days. Defense wins championships, true...but you gotta score. I too am...underwhelmed. Journeyman coach.

Not banking on my future on the exploits of an 8th grader. That and $6 will get you a cup of joe at Starbucks (small cup..ha). He was a HC at a medium sized Ga. school with mediocre success. Defense won the title for Collins Hill...that's all I'm saying. Manage your expectations.
When TK came to DF, I knew what was coming, maybe not to the magnitude it has, but I knew. TK has outperformed even my homer expectations.

Be underwhelmed all you want to be. And when we win big I will be back for our receipts.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but some of ya'll are writing this man's future before he even blows his first whistle at Woodruff. Sometimes it's not about people's past. Sometimes the right person fits somewhere and finds success. Brian Lane came to Woodruff after being 2-8 in his only season as a head coach and led them to multiple region titles, 3 upper state championship appearances, and 1 state title game. While I agree you can't base your future success on your middle school talent, it's definitely something to work on and develop.

I wish the best for the Wolverines. They upgraded coaches today. If you don't believe me, take a look at Bradley Adams' career stats before he arrived at Woodruff.

I’m pissing my pants nervous about Woodruff. A team we are 5 touchdowns better than has hired a Georgia man. This “drop“ you’re hoping for at Daniel isn’t gonna happen. We may not be as dominant next season but it’s still leaps and bounds ahead of y’all. We’re built to last. You should be excited to have any other coach than Bradley Adams leading your team but you need to pump the brakes.
Go Daniel Lions!!

What makes you so sure Powdersville was a one hit wonder? We lost some talent but we've also still got some returning as well as a few new pieces. I'll give you credit on the hopes of a successful MS program. It certainly has worked for us at Pville. Maybe they'll stick it out and not get raided by neighboring schools. Hope to see you in the post season.

3A probably has more quality teams than any other classification in the State. No need to post names, but having more schools stepping up their level of play will help 3A stay the toughest classification to win in the State. 4A was loaded last season as well. Have to see how some of those teams fair off this year. Until I saw a lot of these 3A teams in person, I was not expecting that. Some really good coaching in 3A as well.

Bradley Adams must be the best interviewer in the world. Talk about a retread. But he keeps getting jobs. Not sure what Union saw in him to bring him from the coast. And after two unremarkable years at Union, Woodruff hired him. Once he got a year, or two, under his belt there the rumor was that he was applying for every job in the state while once again leading a very average program. Then with no great track record, he returns to Georgetown. When one thinks of how hard it is for some coaches to get the first job, or a second chance, his ability to jump around is nothing short of amazing.
