Sources tell me they will hire someone at some point. Also I’m hearing people are applying. IYKYK
Well, I would assume they will hire someone at some point... pretty sure they will. I doubt they would just quit football.... But seriously, at this point in time, they can't take too long.

Usually, there will be plenty of people that will apply for one of the best jobs available in the entire state. Top notch resources, plenty of $$$$$, crowd support is much better than it used to be, {used to be called a "wine and cheese" crowd, but they get into it now for the most part}, loads of students so finding players shouldn't be that difficult for a good coach, not too sure about the booster club but I'm sure $$$ is not an issue for the most part... schedule includes some great teams every year and opportunities to schedule state-wide is there (see Fort Dorchester last year as an example). I would imagine they would get resumes from all over the Southeast, not just South Carolina to include some coaches from very established programs.
Well you're very familiar with one of the applicants. The decision, if offered, will whether he can convince the wife to stay in SC and not return to the sunshine state.
That was what I was talking about here...

That would be interesting, but how much longer would he want to be there as an HC
Miller? He'll coach until the cows come home..... or until it's more interesting to go fishing or hunting... that dude is born to coach.

He tried for the Woodruff job and had feelers out for coaches to come with him.

At this point in the year, taking a chance with Miller for a year or two might be a good bridge to the next young coach.

I don’t see Dorman being interested in Miller. Dorman is too good of a job to have to hire someone to be a bridge to anything.

I think the coach that will get this job has not been mentioned on this board yet. He is a successful head coach with multiple State Titles on his resume. And he coaches in the Up State.

Why? Average at best at Mauldin. Program at Chapman has gone backwards in his three years there. Actually shocked when Chapman hired him.
