I think the coach that will get this job has not been mentioned on this board yet. He is a successful head coach with multiple State Titles on his resume. And he coaches in the Up State.
People still beating the Kyle Richardson drum for Dorman?
Definitely not happening. Makes 500k a year at Clemson
Agreed but he fits the criteria of coaching in the upstate and multiple state championships.

Who else does? Mark Hodge? Greg Porter?

Dorman isn’t hiring Greg Porter. Porter has applied for several jobs outside of Greenville County and no offer . He will be at Greenville for a while .

Only takes one team to take a chance he has been a winner everywhere he's been ... but Dorman doesn't seem like a great fit

Hodge would be a great fit, but I'm not sure he will leave Spartanburg.

Heard that Dorman Job was offered last time to Kyle, and he said no thank you. Not sure they are better now than then. Just graduated 2 D1 tackles and I'm sure more. I know Dorman seems to reload, but with ole boy at Byrnes recruiting like he is and Hodge getting after it up the road, not sure this job is what people think it is. Oh not to mention they are the Region with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cowboys, and Gaffney!

Mike Newsome just stepped down at A. L. Brown. Said he wants to spend more time with family. But Dorman is not an ordinary job with support, resources, talent, etc.

Well if he truly wants to spend more time with the family, Dorman isn’t the job for him. You are in the toughest region in 5A to begin with. And Dorman doesn’t seem to be of the mindset to be anything but a very serious player for getting to
Columbia on a regular basis

Has anyone said anything about when they are trying to have someone in place at Dorman. It is the middle of March, You would think either they would or the new guy would need to be on campus soon! Unless they are going to do the interim Tag on the DC. Did he not put in for it last time?

Fountain would be a great choice, been wondering what big job he would choose. He turned down Boiling springs last year, Lybrand would be good too, not sure about the others
