Yes Greenville County has a district AD but from what I have been told the District AD is not involved in hiring . I may be wrong on that but I don’t think he is
No, the district AD does not get involved in the hiring process to the best of my knowledge. But that doesn’t change the fact that his leadership in regards to football is minimal at best. GC isn’t crazy about year round football class which is a staple of programs around the state that are serious about football. Meager funding of football by the district. Mauldin can hire the hungriest coach out there that loves the kids more than an coach in the sport. But going to be an uphill battle at a place that just isn’t set up to win

I’m pretty sure I know of one that said no thanks over the weekend.

Not sure it is fair to grade a guy in one year at a tough place to win like Airport. But I think Cook is what Greenville county is looking for. He checks a lot of boxes. Once he gets his feet wet with the recruiting of Greenville county he will be fine.

Serious question. Do you know him ? If not how can you say he is or isn’t intelligent. He maybe the most intelligent man in the world or the dumbest, but I would not make statements about as too one’s intelligence unless you no someone personally.

That said he may do fine at Mauldin.

still waiting for the boxes that needed checked....there were some very good coaches apply there believe it or not....I hope Cook does wonders, but he was the 4th choice, that equals a problem, is he equipped to fix them or deal with them.
