Starting QB

Lots of teams are gonna have a new face at QB when the season rolls around. Does anyone have any idea of who will be the starting QB for teams like Spartanburg, Gaffney, Dorman, or Byrnes?

Spartanburg - the backup QB from last year will be the starter from everything that I know, he is the real deal and will only be a Jr this season, Viking fans are gonna be in for a treat with him.

Byrnes - Should be a 2 man race at this point, from what I know a new kid moved in, and you still have the back up from last year.

Dorman - no idea

Gaffney - whoever they can get in the portal

I saw the new QB for Byrnes (the one from BS) in a few 7v7's and he can sling it, it will definitely be interesting to watch that QB race play out.

Gaffney #10 the WR will be QB from what i'm hearing! I know he is a great athlete and some say could be something close to the G.O.A.T Kentrell Jones before career is done!

Dorman JV QB was really good but I'm sure with that many athletes in your school , new coach will not have a problem finding someone to run his offense!

Byrnes , I think will be fine at QB with either! With all the weapons they have QB will not be needed to do a ton! You also have Bomar that you can insert for a changeup!

The year isn’t over yet…the QB at RH also plays baseball and doubt he would want to play that sport at Gaffney this year since they have a new Coach…but from what I have heard as far homegrown talent ..Drew Medley who played WR last year is a possibility..he currently is also playing baseball..speaking of baseball do we have any Region 2 folks that follow the sport?

Medley would be an Interesting choice, simply because he was the leading receiver last season for Gaffney. Regardless who QB1 is for the Indians, I'm sure they will be just fine.

I think you will see more two 2 back formations with Byrnes this year! Good thing is all those RB 's are all good athletes and can play other positions also!

I think you will see more two 2 back formations with Byrnes this year! Good thing is all those RB 's are all good athletes and can play other positions also!

Byrnes defense should be really good as well, at least on paper this seems like it could be one of the best Byrnes teams of the last decade.
