Starting QB

Spartanburg - the backup QB from last year will be the starter from everything that I know, he is the real deal and will only be a Jr this season, Viking fans are gonna be in for a treat with him.

Byrnes - Should be a 2 man race at this point, from what I know a new kid moved in, and you still have the back up from last year.

Dorman - no idea

Gaffney - whoever they can get in the portal

Make that 2 kids moved in..Spartanburgs last year freshman has transferred to Byrnes.A big blow for the Vikings because this kid is fast and something special.Probably another AJ Green from DutchFork ..

If you're talking RB, then the question is that SHS Fr RB done after the bust in the cafeteria? Or is that going to be swept under the rug?

And now I've been told he has left the state all together...... tried to move on to Fairforest, but I guess that wasn't far enough.

Ain’t no telling what’s going on with the kid.I did hear he had got suspended but didn’t know he had left..

He got expelled and has moved to Douglasville, GA don’t know if he thinks running away will solve his problems but I think it won’t. Why he left SHS is because his mom got a house bought for her in D5 and they got her a job at BMW. Now since the bust for the wacky weed he is getting out of state but problems will follow him.

I doubt that any one bought her a house... maybe someone with connections helped her get set up in a rented house, but I can't see any high school player good enough to BUY a house.

As for a job at BMW, people get jobs at BMW every week and people lose jobs as well. And I can assure you, BMW couldn't care less about Byrnes High School and who plays football for the Rebels. The only thing BMW has done for Byrnes is increased the student population because of the jobs that are associated with BMW and those who support BMW in other industries. They have donated not one cent to Byrnes, ever.

Absolutely agree! He has so much potential and already has a few D1 offers, lets hope this was a wake up call for him. I know the rumor was others are going with him but I personally do not see that happening.

I know the post begin with question about starting QB's but quickly turned into a sad thread about a kid who needs real counseling. When i first heard about the situation i asked how could the parents let him get into that kind of trouble? I was told they were about that kind of life. I hope they are not because if they are it doesn't matter where he moves to trouble will follow.
