Excellent!! I've been saying this for two years. If Williams Brice isn't an option, SCSU is by far the next best choice. Twice the capacity of Benedict's stadium.

Now, they just need to manage the parking. There are very few paved lots near the stadium, but there are three grass fields adjacent to the stadium that are lined off as parking lots. There are two more about 1000ft and 3/8 of a mile southwest of the stadium. To the north, there are some small paved lots 1/4 mile north of the stadium at the arena and admin building, and more grass fields 1/3 of a mile north near the softball field.

I don't know what the traffic pattern will be, but if they try to funnel everyone into one or two entrances to collect parking fees, it will continue to be a nightmare. I understand they need to cover the costs of the games, but don't do it with parking fees collected at the entrance, just raise the price of a ticket or sell parking passes in advance.

I didn't mind having the games at Benedict since My Beaufort Eagles Football Team made it to the 3A State Championship Game for 2 straight years there. . But SC State would be a little closer to us and I wouldn't mind the State Titles Games being played there. I am still hoping to see all the games back at Williams Brice Stadium though.

Anything is better than Benedict. I just hope that they allow charging one price for three games like they used to and let the crowd in for multiple games. That was the feature that made WB the best

on different days. Might as well go
back to the old days having the
championship game for each division
at the school stadium.
