The stories of the Gaffney QB remind me of a kid from the late 2000s/early 2010s.
Think his name was Hawkins. Went to HS in Charlotte as a 9th grader. Transferred to York. Transferred to Fillon, Transferred to Myers Park.
In college went to Maryland, transferred to juco in MS, transferred to University of Louisiana, transferred to Akron and I think finished up at a D3 in Virginia.
Parents can screw up a kid easily.
