I think this is more of a statement on just how important Sellers was to the SF success of late
I can't deny we will miss watching Sellers take the snaps, he was like a cheat code for our offense. But he wasn't playing defense for us; he wasn't down field making some of those clown catches and picking up huge yardage after the catch, and didn't carry the ball on the majority of our running plays. Those other kids didn't get the same press and attention, but a fair number of our seniors will be playing on Saturdays this year, and we return a core group that got a lot of playing time last year. From what I saw at our spring game, we will be in the hunt for another region title.

I think our HSSR ranking is reasonable. Hartsville, Myrtle Beach, South Florence and West Florence all in a knot between #7 and #15. That's about a good of a guess as any.
Best defense is a good offense. Sellers kept the offense on the field, and the defense rested and ready. He threw the ball where usually only the SF receivers could catch it, and the defense could not key on any SF RB solely because Sellers was always a threat to run making the RBs more effective. I think SF will miss him more than most believe. He was special and special from a young age on the SF varsity. Time will tell.

Camel killer, saw the wave spring game, the hawks transfer qb will help the wave, they big strong and good running backs, no whipping by the fort this year, certainly a top 5 team, billy baker cant get the green out of his county boy rankings.

Dutch Fork hasn't played Summerville since 2020...need to get them back on the field soon.

I definitely think Summerville is on the verge of something great again. They got a lot of pride and traditions over there

According to this James Island would win our region or be favored to. That’s a pretty generous ranking considering SF is the defending champs. We’ll see soon enough!
I disagree with the defending part.they are pursuing another .nothing towards you just a pet peave .no one can take the other championship
So there's nothing to defend .
I can understand your point of view that’s fine. I can understand why Northwestern is #1. I just can’t understand how James Island got so much love in a preseason poll over a team that won a championship over a team that’s a projected state title contender again. Is James Island a state Title contender? Are they just a good regular season team/ playoff contender? Somebody must know more than me about them. I guess we’ll find out in the playoffs this year. Lol I hope
I think this is more of a statement on just how important Sellers was to the SF success of late; without him...not nearly as imposing.

I agree! That is probably why.

Sumter is a team to keep an eye on...
The R.B People's is a pure stud...
The QB last year went down with an injury which hurt them in the playoffs.
But if they find a passing game this year..they could be a state contender.
