Which team do you think has the best chance to dethrone Dutch Fork this season? If any 😂

Personally I think Byrnes can break through this season, they seem to have as much talent as they have had in a while. But if I was a betting man I would put my money on Hodge and Spartanburg representing the upstate this fall.
My money is still going to be on Dutch Fork representing the upstate....
I thought Dutch Fork was going to be lower state this year? Assuming they win their region.

Nope they switch back and forth.
That region splits. It'd be to easy just to split it at I
20.

Apparently Coach Hodge is very excited about his Spartanburg team. Said he’s seen flashes of his 15-0 Chapman team. He’s not the coach to say something like that for no reason, so I think that holds some weight

I would think it would be the usual suspects...Fort Dorchester, Dorman, Gaffney, Summerville, and maybe Hanna, Byrnes or Spartanburg. I believe this year's DF team will be about on par with last season's team. Strong defense and a little more variety on offense... another decent team there in Ballentine. Tough out of state opponents in GA and NC- so we will see. Hopefully, they can dodge the injury bug better this season than last year.

Summerville and fort should be better this year.
Theoretically. Two qbs at fort look good so does the ville.
Fort secondary needs work.

I'll say it forever..
Bring back Cross Bracketing
Lose the terms Upper State and Lower State
And some kind of points system or something.

Id literally rather they draw straws than some games not counting.

He better see a lot more than flashes. The last time I saw them in the playoffs DF was beating them like some SCISA JV team rolled into town.

AMEN and AMEN!

You are so right. Look at this possible [but highly unlikely] season outcome for the Vikings.

Spartanburg AT South Pointe LOSS
Spartanburg AT Dutch Fork LOSS
Spartanburg VS Gettys Broome LOSS
Spartanburg VS Grayson (GA) LOSS
Spartanburg AT Riverside LOSS
Spartanburg AT Mauldin LOSS
Spartanburg AT Byrnes WIN
Spartanburg VS Gaffney LOSS
Spartanburg AT Boiling Springs WIN
Spartanburg VS Dorman LOSS

REGION
..........................WIN LOSS
Spartanburg..........2 - 2 Wins 5 way tiebreaker
Byrnes..................2 - 2
Gaffney.................2 - 2
Boiling Springs......2 - 2
Dorman................2 - 2

Spartanburg at 2 - 8 would be the #1 Seed from Region Two and all games including Upper State Championship could be at HOME depending on the way the PRE-DETERMINED bracket is set up.
