Daniel vs Walhalla

Post by stretch »

After wrapping up non region play with a 56-14 win over Riverside, the Lions will be back at home for homecoming against Walhalla to kick off region play. Walhalla is a team that my Lions have not struggled with historically, in 34 meetings the all time record is 29-4-1. It’s been over 40 years since the last time Walhalla has beat us.

I have a very strong feeling that we will have no issues with the purple pigs. They come into this game 2-3 and have issues keeping teams out of the end zone. Their wins are against a bad Palmetto team in OT and an even worse Southside squad. Their losses are to Woodmont, Chesnee and BHP.

I do believe we will roll with ease. They could try what they did last year which was effective in the first half, where they held the ball and ran the clock and went to half only down 7. The end result was still a 56-14 win so it did not work throughout.

These next 5 are the games that matter most so hopefully we stay healthy throughout and continue to dominate.
Go Daniel Lions!!

52-10 win to start out region play for the Lions. It took us a little longer to get going in this one than normal but it was still smooth sailing.
Go Daniel Lions!!
