Wow what a game! As I said turnovers we’re going to decide this one. Both defenses are legit. The Strike Force(I think they have earned the name back) made the big plays and won the game for us.

This one lived up to the pre-game expectations and then some. For anyone who looks at the Vikings record and writes them off; you are going to be SMOKED! They are legit contenders!Rebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2023 8:10 amIt depends on the team that shows up...
IF the "team" or should I say GROUP OF GUYS that travelled to Inman shows up, Vikings roll easily.
IF the team that played Greenville and West Florence shows up, we will have a fun time Friday night. I think there will be no chance that first group shows up, so I'm saying the game will be won because someone made a huge play, maybe an interception or a huge sack or one of those RB's breaks a huge run.
As for Nixon Field rocking, all I have to say is that it better be!!! It hasn't been quite as loud recently but as big as this game is for the season and all the playoff implications; I'm hoping it is packed and loud like 2005.
Like you, I want to go with my team [that is why they are our team] in a close game that sets the tone for Region II.
That team that showed up in Inman must have stashed the real Rebels somewhere and played in their place because they were not the team that showed up last night. As Darth said, STRIKE FORCE was back! Defense absolutely the reason the Rebels won this game (that interception I mentioned earlier wrapped it up and put the bow on it).

Yep and that’s exactly what happened..Our Qb gotta make better decisions when throwing the ball and when to hand off.Don’t get any easier with Gaffney next. They can move the ball as well…Rebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:43 amThis one lived up to the pre-game expectations and then some. Should be another one like last night where one play can change it all...

Next week will show a lot about Gaffney, SHS and Byrnes. Can SHS slow down Gaffney or is Gaffney’soffense much better than Byrnes or SHS’ offense.Rebel-Fan-74 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 2:08 pmShould be another one like last night where one play can change it all...

SHS offense is not hitting on all cylinders but the the defense is.If the defense doesn’t stop Gaffney it’s going to be a long night for my Vikings..ByrnesRebels05 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:11 pmNext week will show a lot about Gaffney, SHS and Byrnes. I think Gaffney’s offense is better that both Byrnes and Spartanburg. But that doesn’t mean the Vikings can’t win at home next weekByrnesRebels05 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:11 pmNext week will show a lot about Gaffney, SHS and Byrnes.
