Could the Bulldogs be for real? I know they were putting up huge numbers but they were playing bad jv teams. I realize Seneca is not a powerhouse but that was a big win and basically sewed up 2nd for Pendleton.

Any thoughts?

They’re definitely doing a great job this year compared to years past. I was at the second half of that game between them and Seneca in the second half and they look like a good team. But we will see in two weeks if anyone else in 3A should be concerned about them. In the last 3 games against them we average 46 points… in the first half alone, but I’m hoping it’ll be a good game. The way the playoffs are set up they should be hosting either TR or Blue Ridge which are winnable games, then in round two it’ll be BHP, not quite as easy. Coach Howell is still building a good program and the way Pendleton continues to grow with the housing developments they should continue to get better with their football program.

Great to see with all the crappy coaching situations that have been going on there for few years, great for kids and community
