BEAUFORT 41 BATTERY CREEK 6 FINAL 10/6/2023

Beaufort beat City Rival Battery Creek last night 41-6. For the most part, Beaufort dominated this game. Battery Creek did turn the ball over a few times to help Beaufort though. What a great atmosphere last night for this game!!!! The stands were packed on both sides. It was great seeing the past graduating classes for Beaufort tailgating in the parking lot for this Homecoming Game. Beaufort seems to always win their Homecoming Games. Both Teams Bands sounded great also. Congrats to all the Homecoming Court and to the Homecoming Queen and King. Congrats to Beaufort Football Player James Denton on being named the Homecoming King.

Beaufort RB Jadyn Andrews had another Huge Night with 4 TD'S. He is definitely a weapon for Beaufort!!!! Beaufort QB Samari Bonds had a great night throwing the football. He looked really good with his passes. Bonds had 2 TD Passes on the Night. Beaufort WR'S Amare Patterson and Jaemin Odom each caught 1 TD Pass and had great nights catching the football. It was great seeing Beaufort's Back-ups get to play in the 2nd half with Backup RB Xavier Tobias scoring a TD.

This was a good Region 8 3A win for Beaufort. Beaufort improved to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in Region 8 3A. The Eagles have a BYE Week next week and then finish off the regular season with 2 Huge Region 8 3A Games.

I also wanted to say that Beaufort's Defense played better in this game but they still have to tackle better. They are still trying to knock the players down instead of wrapping them up. So, I hope that they get better at doing this for the rest of the season. But overall in this game, I thought that the Eagles "D" looked pretty good.

I forgot to also mention, that the Beaufort JV Football Team beat Battery Creek's JV this past Thursday Night 40-0 to improve to 3-2 on the season. Way to go JV Eagles!!!!

Slicker, any Region Win is a BIG WIN. The Region Games are what determines your seed in the playoffs. So really all the Region games are Huge Games.
