Byrnes vs Dorman

Post by Greerfan1 »

Surprised that no one has started this thread already.

Big time rivalry game and you never know what can happen in games like this. Not gonna sit here and say Dorman is gonna pull off the upset but I think it will be a lot closer than many people might think.

Give me Byrnes in a 24-10 type of game.

What say y'all?

I would take 24-10 at this point. In this region you take a win any way you can get it. If Byrnes can’t run the ball they struggle. We had some players get hurt last week. One being a key receiver, but another who is back now from injury and is on the rise. Hopefully the Rebels come out motivated at home in a rivalry game. I expect a good hard fought game. Throw the records of the teams out.

Go Rebels!

As I've said before, "That'll Preach!"

So much truth in that one paragraph. Lot of injuries the past couple of weeks and some key players may not even dress Friday. I'm sure Dorman and most other teams are facing that as well and this is when "Next" is given the chance to shine. We need some of those players to step up this week and show that they can contribute as well.

If Dorman sells out to stop the run, we need to have accuracy and NO DROPPED PASSES when they are catchable. We cannot afford to keep missing out on those connections that can result in BIG PLAYS and 3rd down conversions to allow the offense to stay on the field and keep out Defense from being totally worn out. I think the OL could be a huge key in this game. Give Stevens time to throw and make holes for the RB's. If the Offense is balanced so that Dorman has to keep their defense spread out, I think the Rebels could make that 24-10 prediction; however, I'm with Darth,
