Well that means I was ran out of your stands before you as we played Booker T. Washington at your field a few years back and had to leave the home stands due to lightening. Nothing like standing in the water below metal stands in a lightening storm.

Rain has not changed anything here; but let them mention even the remote possibility of lightening and eveyone goes bat crap crazy. I understand why... but those mandatory 30 minute delays back to back to back.. it gets in to my beauty sleep!
Spartanburg and Union ending at 2:40am was the longer than some OZZFEST Concerts I went to with 20 bands.
We went to Waffle house during one delay, Walmart during another.

I recall it was Myrtle Beach that snapped the Byrne's home winning streak a few years ago,...after midnight, due to a long lightening delay.

Our game was played early this week due the T-storm forecast. I was surprised that the forecast was spot on. We had a line of storms roll through around 5pm, and another at 7pm. But things cleared up quickly, it probably would have delayed our kick-off by 30 minutes.

Maybe they didn't want a soggy senior night.
