Rock Hill.. scouting report

Post by Noble Savage »

Who's got a good idea of what they do.
Players to watch, what kind of offense??
I've looked up the stats I could find but didn't really clear anything up for me.

We haven't played Rock Hill since 2011?
I've been out of the Bearcat loop.

Their online is kind of porous, we pressured their QB all night and he made bad decisions. Clover managed two pick sixes and scores of three and outs. If you guys can get up on them early you'll have no problem taking the game.

Spartanburg should win easily. Rock Hill isn’t very good. Clover is the only decent team in that region. The rest are tomato cans at best. Hodge has to be the luckiest guy in the world. Finish fourth and draw the easiest game of anybody in the region.Reminds me of when he was at Chapman. Seemed that every year they would move Chapman into a new region and magically that region would just happen to have home field advantage all the way to state.

What I saw from the Vikings Friday was a team that I haven’t seen all season play. The offense was clicking on cylinders and if they keep that up they will be hard to beat..That just my opinion..Not forgetting the defense they have played tremendous all season..

I've said it since the beginning of the season, this Vikings team is going to be a tough out and still one of my favorites to win it all. That defense will travel and if the offense keeps making timely plays it could be a special run.

I wouldn’t hang my hat on Spartanburg’s offensive performance on Friday night. They were playing Dorman. Not exactly in the elite of 5A football. They got beat by a bad River Bluff team. Spartanburg does have an excellent defense and will have to ride that once they run into some stiffer competition than Rock Hill will put on the field

I saw Rock Hill play Clover on Friday and I must have jinxed them. I haven't seen them in person since 2017 when I moved to Myrtle Beach. Rock Hill had a lot of miscues to start the game. They couldn't develop any run game and resorted to throwing deep balls way too much. I think the Watkins kid is going to be a special player in time. Rock Hill has a chance. They have to be focused and play disciplined football. I will be back in town on the 9th so I can see them that night as well. I have to pass on this Thursday night making the drive. Rock Hill couldn't compete against Clover and history tends to repeat itself. That was a long ride back home Friday night. I didn't even feel like putting Chuck Roberts on.
