Hey my friend. I am truly sorry about that entire situation. Sean has fought a valiant fight......so far. He has enabled your entire family to coerce around a single issue. If the time comes that he can no longer fight the battle, the one and only consequence of that, will be the warmth and love that all of you can have towards one another. I have no words that can console you, but I do have a shoulder for you to lean on should you need it. Having gone through this same battle with a former relative, I can assure you that holding those close to you, will be a help, not a hinderance. Our kindest regards are with you, with Sean, and with your entire family. Please know that you have friends here, and that you can count on that. Alan

we took sean to Palliative care today and damn, its a word
nicer than hospice, but helps to ease his pain, the first question out of the woman's mouth was why do you fear death, my boy broke into tears and said what do you mean, I dont want to die, my wife looked at her and asked her do you want to die, so not a warm feeling from them, but sure they can help get him things to aid his care if they will.
