Sf not playing any games 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I see tre leonard is now on their roster. One of the top rbs in the state
He was at West Florence last year and Florence has open enrollment in the district so he is probably good. Although it is a weak move on his part as it’s his 3rd school now and he moved to a better team when he transferred from SCISA and his short and t shirt talent didn’t translate to big boy football. Had offers based off playing middle schoolers in SCISA like the Dillon QB. Then couldn’t get it done with good talent around them so looking to build a super team of Merceries so they can ride the coattails to scholarships. No loyalty. Don’t give a shit about their teams or teammates or coaches although they love to say it on social media when they leave. If I’m a college coach I have no interest as kid will hit the portal the second he doesn’t get his way. Unless he is a generational talent, I’m not interested. And these guys aren’t that talented with pads on or they’d be leading the teams where they actually live to championships instead of transferring to ready made teams where they can pad their stats. It’s 180 degrees away from what a coach would tell you he actually wants because it’s mentally weak and shows no loyalty or appreciation for those who supported them.

Let me know when you find out the family reasons that they had to move to Florence, SC. There isn’t one other than turning HS football which used to be about community into another form of business. If they are legit moves, even for the wrong reasons, great…Marlowe is a great recruiter but certainly not a great football coach.

If the moves aren’t legit bonafide moves, it’s gonna take quite the conspiracy from the principal on down who is required to verify eligibility based on residency. Watching these things unfold is always so predictable because you can’t keep everyone happy. Eventually the people who live in the town even turn on the program as their talented athletes get pushed out for “move ins” due to “family reasons.” That’s why these “super talented” coaches always leave pretty quick. It’s not sustainable when you don’t develop your own talent.

Anyways, as said, new region does know where these guys live and HS kids aren’t great at keeping secrets, especially when blinded by selfish aspirations. Tax records, phone bills, parole/probation records addresses (yep for parents), etc. don’t lie. Lack of a bonafide move is basically impossible to cover up in society today. Florence District 1 may find out this season just how difficult. Those region coaches playing by the rules have families to feed too. They ain’t gonna just stay quiet and lose their job for losing while playing it straight.

Just going by what a JV offensive lineman stated while visiting the hospital. Maybe he meant Utah. They better find a Varsity QB, season is here.

Just read a story about a national level QB recruit in Alabama who is staying at his HS despite a 7 figure NIL deal that would require him to move to a new state. Kid is the real deal and he’ll be big time because he has the talent AND character.

I’d love to hear what a college coach thinks when he leaves a recruiting visit and asks, why did you transfer in July?” Well it was gonna be easier to win a state championship and put up better stats at this other school that had more talent. No kid will say that, but everyone knows it. Turn your back on your team at the last minute to take an easier route….how is that gonna play out with the NCAA transfer portal when you have to earn a starting job?

These kids are getting bad advice. Coaches ask about more than stats and the motive behind these transfers is obvious. Hope they all get real addresses with bonafide family moves before the start of school. The SCHSL is gonna jump on an easy one to fix this transfer problem, especially with the multiplier because charters are gonna be pressing that now that they are being held to the standard everyone else must too.

Heard the Dillon kids family moved in so they are probably good to go and have a better situation at QB there.

I never saw so much hate for young man who has been putting in that work... basically took us to state as freshman, if those refs didn't call that bs, we beat Beaufort and would have been state champs...
Last year, he didn't have any receivers to throw it to.. those jokers were dropping passes left and right..
Camden basically had our playbook which is a bout four plays..
I can say officially he lived Dillon, in fact hamer area,
I'm very ashamed of Alot Dillon fake fans and the way they talked junk about that young man
I do that kid after the game with Camden and told him to transfer bc no matter what he does he is going to be hated and take his talent to beach..

Btw this anit Dillon football no more.. to many new coaches and roller got 2 years left to get it done or the G.O.A.T is coming back...
From what I hear out of Dillon you are completely wrong on this take. I also doubt some weird old guys comment to him after another playoff loss at home influenced his decision to skip out on a team at the last minute for whatever personal gain he thinks he is gonna get in recruiting. Seems more likely no offers got renewed this summer at camps and panic set in to do whatever necessary to put up better stats. Selfish and egotistical, especially without production, doesn’t play well in towns like Dillon. Every time I talk to my guys from Dillon they laugh about the daddy ball thing that was going on there. Daddy driving from home in Lumberton to be at every practice and the like. Sounds like maybe you’re a relative from NC or something. Regardless, I’d say about the only thing I am hearing you have right is the last paragraph.
He's probably the only person other than the kid's father that thought that QB was any good!

I guess you totally forgot about all passes he airmailed in that game. We lost because couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Lol big facts, he costed us 14 points in that camden. Fumble the snap on the 1st play of the game, gave them the ball in the redzone. Then he literally threw the worst pic 6 I ever seen in my life. He basically handed the ball to the guy
